Recently while going through some papers I found this poem written back probably 10 years ago. As a mother does she saves the things she most cherishes. The year that my daughter Lauri wrote this was one that we found most difficult in our household, coming across it filled my heart with more love than you could ever imagine. That little girl that wrote this poem has turned into a beautiful young woman and has exceeded our every expectation. Often I wonder what my next page will be about and when I came across this I knew instantly. Paper in time will deteriorate but by the power of the internet I can preserve a very special memory.
