I wander through the garden
 Surrounded by beauty
The sweet fragrance engulfing me
I find myself inside a maze
Each turn a careful decision
Yet I still plunge deeper
I feel defeat until I spy
A single butterfly sitting in my path
It then begins to fly, I follow…
It flits and flutters showing me
 The beauty of its wings and the way

At once the maze is opened,
Surrounded by a rainbow of loveliness
 I drink in the garden’s beauty 
My eye catches one magnificent flower, 
A single pink rose 
This bud so perfect standing out against the rest
Its intoxicating fragrance is pure ecstasy
Standing gazing at perfection it opens before 
My eyes growing more beautiful.

As the sun begins to set
I turn to leave, yet I turn to catch one final
Glimpse of paradise, discovering my guide
Resting on a single petal of the glorious
Flower, I waken and realize it was but a dream 
You were my guide showing me how to be strong
You had me to discover my own beauty
We have bloomed in each other’s presence.
